First, I want to state that I have nothing to do with Arbonne International or any other MLM company, but just came across this thread in a search about Arbonne because my wife uses their Natural Progesterone cream. Though there are many manufacturers of natural progesterone that can give similar results, Arbonne’s wonderful product, in conjunction with professional medical advice, prevented my wife from having a hysterectomy. I’ll say again ARBONNE’S NATURAL PROGENTERONE CREAM KEPT MY WIFE FROM HAVING TO HAVE A HYSTERECTOMY!

My wife was diagnosed with uterine fibroids, which is a cellular growth in the lining of the uterus. This growth causes extreme pain during a woman’s monthly cycle, and can sometimes become cancerous. The initial recommendation her doctor was to go on the pill, which just stopped her monthly cycle, and to monitor the size of the fibroid through ultrasound. This was fine, but was a Band-Aid; it simply took care of the symptoms. This is analogous to putting tape over your speedometer if it is broken. It covers up the problem, but doesn’t fix it, and someday you’ll end up with a speeding ticket as a result!!! For those who aren’t painting the picture, speeding ticket = hysterectomy in this case. Hysterectomies are a BIG deal, not only is it major surgery, but it is the female equivalent of castration!

My wife was very skeptical of the initial recommendations of the doctor, and by the grace of God, didn’t have to follow them! You see, an acquaintance from church (a person I have never met before, but my wife kind of knew) got to talking with my wife about her problem. We came to find this medical professional had done extensive research on the effects of hormone imbalance, particularly the balance between estrogen and progesterone in the body. In fact, she had written a book about it, which she gave to my wife, and suspected she had a dominant level of estrogen in her body. My wife and I read the book, which contained a full chapter on uterine fibroids, and after consultation with her doctor decided to try topical application of natural progesterone for a couple of months.

Now I have to take a time-out and dispel any skepticism about NATURAL progesterone. Progesterone should never be confused with progestins, which they are commonly done, even by the medical community. Progestins are synthetic, man-made by drug companies, and are not chemically the same or treated the same by the body as natural progesterone. In fact, PROGESTINS are known carcinogens, along with estrogen. Both of these drugs are in oral contraception, which the doctor wanted to give to my wife simply to mask symptoms. Natural progesterone is plant derived. In fact, some progesterone is taken from yams. We all know yams don’t give you cancer!

Well just last week the verdict was in…my wife had her follow-up ultrasound, and we are elated to report that the fibroids are HALF the size. The doctor was completely amazed by this, even baffled, because this just doesn’t happen. The normal course is diagnoses, take the pill, monitor the fibroid size (which it usually grows!), and then a hysterectomy! When I first found out about my wife’s condition, I consoled with a colleague who’s wife followed this typical course...she ended up with a hysterectomy. The doctor was so surprised and pleased with the result and prognosis that my wife doesn’t have to have another ultrasound for another year (normally it’s every month!), and she said to continue the progesterone treatment.

With all this said, I would put my money into ANY Arbonne product!
